Some toy robots I sketched after an extensive 2 second search for old robot toys. Because it’s still Futuristic February, that’s why!

Delicious December continues with some milk and cookies! (I know I’m a half hour late for theme Thursday, but it’s still Thursday over on the west coast, right?)

a VERY late (wow, I’ve been a few hours late for all the days this week!) Theme Thursday… it’s Octopus October, so wrapping up this (short) month with a Halloweeny Octopus!

Militant May kicks off with some drawings of little plastic army men, based off of a quick google image search. I can’t stress just how much I miss my scanner, it’s like my webcam has worse quality every day. Soon! Soon my scanner will be back with me!

So I had no idea what to do with my abstract April theme. So, I doodled a few things with my eyes closed (image on left) and tried to turn that blind doodle into a better drawing. :)

A self portrait. lolololol

It’s Theme Thursday! Movie March continues with fanart of one of my all-time favorite movies, the Princess Bride.

Theme Thursday! It’s Movie March, so here’s some fanart for a movie I had the privilege to see recently - RED STATE. Kevin Smith’s latest film is a horror/satire based around a family/cult not unlike the Westboro Baptist Church. I had the opportunity to see a screening of the film and a Q&A with Mr. Smith last week, and absolutely loved it. It’s WAY funnier (and a little scarier) than the teaser trailer lets on. A very unique film. I just drew one still from the teaser trailer since there aren’t many promotional shots to work from for reference.

It’s a new month for Theme Thursday, and the theme this time is Movie March! Here’s a sketch of Rango, with some paper texture thrown on top to make it look about 100000x cooler than it does as just a plain sketch. Enjoy!

Theme Thursday! It’s nearly the end of Futuristic February, and here to close out this theme is a robot cat :P

Theme Thursday! This is my quickly drawn and colored picture of the gent from Disney’s Carousel of Progress, sitting in a futuristic living room, which I thought would be funny to juxtapose with the old dog and original clothes from the ride. Doing a futuristic living room fits with another idea I wanted to draw today, a typical home in what would have been EPCOT. Had Epcot become a real city, Disney’s plan was to be able to instantly upgrade everyone’s homes to be the newest and most technologically advanced. The story goes that you’d be able to go to work, come home, and you’d have a brand new kitchen. Neat, huh?

It’s Theme Thursday! This month is Futuristic February, so I drew the invention of the future that I want right now: a robot that can make me any food I want on command (drink, too.) Sorta like the drink-making robot from Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, but it actually works (and knows what tea is).
